Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you access or use LetLog.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of LetLog. By creating an account or using LetLog, you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

LetLog is software for recording and managing property, tenancy, maintenance, compliance, document, messaging, inventory and billing information. LetLog is not a party to any tenancy, letting, repair or payment arrangement between users.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must not share access credentials or use another person's account without permission.
  • You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Landlords and property managers remain responsible for complying with property, tenancy, safety, deposit, tax and licensing requirements.
  • Tenants remain responsible for providing accurate reports and using the property responsibly.
  • Users must only upload or share content they have the right to use and disclose.
  • Users must not upload unlawful, misleading, malicious, abusive or infringing content.

5. No Professional Advice

LetLog may help you organise records and reminders, but it does not provide legal, tax, accounting, safety, surveying or property management advice. You should take professional advice where needed.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans, prices, limits and billing periods are shown on the pricing page or at checkout. Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

You are responsible for keeping billing details current. If payment fails, we may restrict paid features until the account is brought up to date.

7. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep LetLog available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the service where needed for maintenance, security, compliance or product changes.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, create security or legal risk, or fail to pay applicable fees. You may stop using LetLog at any time and can request account deletion from account settings or support.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LetLog is not liable for indirect, consequential or business interruption losses, or for disputes between landlords, tenants or other users.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law gives you rights in another UK jurisdiction.
